LightHub Terms of Use: Our Mutual Covenant of Respect
Welcome to LightHub. By crossing this digital threshold and subscribing to our wellness media ecosystem, you are not just accepting a software license—you are entering into a shared covenant to protect your own well-being, the peace of your family, and the resilience of your community.
Unlike traditional platforms that thrive on hyper-distraction, outrage, and exploitation, LightHub is built for personal, family, and community sustainability with adequacy. These Terms ensure that our digital spaces remain healthy, safe, and profoundly human.
1. The Subscription Model & Non-Commercial Guarantee
The Guardrail: LightHub is an entirely ad-free, non-commercial environment funded exclusively by its membership. Individual subscriptions are set at $5–$7, and organizational/frontline networks are set at a flat rate of $33.
The Rule: You agree to maintain an active subscription to access the network. In return, LightHub guarantees that we will never sell your data, introduce targeted advertising, or implement addictive algorithms designed to exploit your time.
2. Age Gates & Intergenerational Protection
The Guardrail: LightHub is built to be safe for all generations, bridging the gap between youth, adults, and elders.
The Rule: To create an individual account, you must be at least 13 years old. Parents and guardians using a Hearth Orb or setting up parental guardrails are responsible for managing the privacy and activity configurations of the youth members within their immediate household layer.
3. Account Security & The Sanctuary Firewall
The Guardrail: Your Beacon, Sanctuary Orb, and private communications are your absolute property.
The Rule: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You agree not to impersonate others, misrepresent your professional status (especially within verified Frontline Sanctuary Orbs for first responders, doctors, and nurses), or attempt to breach the encryption or private architecture of other members' small-group Orbs.
4. The Code of Presence: Non-Competitive Engagement
Traditional social networks encourage outrage, viral metrics, and aggressive debate to boost engagement. LightHub explicitly bans this architecture. By using the platform, you agree to the following communication boundaries:
No Metric Gaming: There are no "likes," view counts, or viral trends. You agree to engage through our designated supportive gestures: Beams, High-Fives, and Open Hands.
Intimacy Over Volume: You agree to respect the structural group caps on our small, locked-in advice circles, which are explicitly designed for psychological safety and private counsel.
Zero Tolerance for Exploitation: Harassment, targeted bullying, toxic venting, cyber-stalking, and the promotion of hate or violence are absolute violations of this covenant. LightHub is a space for healing and constructive adaptation, not a battleground.
5. Intellectual Property: Total User Ownership
The Guardrail: LightHub believes in the absolute dignity of the artist and the individual. What you create belongs entirely to you.
The Rule: You retain 100% ownership of all content, music, text, artwork, or Breakthroughs you upload—especially within the Creative Soul Studio. LightHub claims zero rights, licenses, or commercial ownership over your intellectual property. We only host it securely within your designated Orbs.
6. Prohibited Technical Activities
To maintain the proficiency, safety, and digital sobriety of our ecosystem, you explicitly agree not to engage in:
The use of automated bots, scrapers, or AI data-mining tools to harvest content or user information from LightHub.
The deployment of malicious code, viruses, or scripts designed to disrupt the calm, distraction-free performance of our user interface.
The utilization of LightHub for mass commercial solicitation, multi-level marketing, or spamming member profiles.
7. The Right to Fade & Account Termination
The Guardrail: You have total autonomy over your presence. You are never trapped.
The Rule: You can cancel your subscription and permanently delete your account at any time. Upon doing so, LightHub activates our "Right to Fade" protocol, wiping your profile and personal data completely from our active servers within 30 days. Conversely, LightHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any account that consistently breaches this Covenant of Respect and compromises the psychological safety of the community.
